March 26 CBOT brown rice day assessment: strong export sales, the recent contract closed up
Beijing Lin PETROFER message March 27: March 26, Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) closed rice market mutual Change, on the whole a much weaker pattern near strong weekly export sales data boosted the recent strong performance of the contract.
As of closing, CBOT brown rice inter-Up, one of the contract in May rose 31 cents to close at 1261.50 cents / cwt; July contract rose 30.50 cents to close at 1281.50 cents / cwt; September contract rose 3.50 cents to close at 1200 cents / cwt.
According to the United States Department of Agriculture released weekly export sales report showed that, as of March 19 of the week, the United States export sales of rice to 207,400 tons, setting a new high this year, mainly due to Iraq last week purchased 120,000 tons rice.
One trader said, we all know that the United States sold to Iraq a number of rice, a very considerable quantity. Another dealer said, everybody knows that business in Iraq, March 26 so the market was surprised people up.
In the past three trading days of brown rice has been in a down trend the market this week so far has been 5 month contract fell 21 cents.
The United States Department of Agriculture will be released March 31 planting intentions report prediction area. Market speculation that the report will probably show a significant reduction in rice acreage.
March 26, brown rice market turnover is estimated at 878 in hand, empty hand plate of 6884.
