According to customs statistics in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province January to May this year, total imports and exports 3.197 billion U.S. dollars, an 1.4 percent decline in the same period last year. Exports 1.509 billion U.S. dollars of which more than 33 percent decline in the same period last year; 1.688 billion U.S. dollars of imports of the same period last year 70.4 percent growth, import growth rate ranks No. 1 nationwide, trade deficit of 179 million U.S. dollars.
May import and export value of the province 738 million U.S. dollars, an 10.3 percent increase over the same period last year, of which exports 335 million U.S. dollars, down 26.9%; 403 million U.S. dollars of imports, representing 90.9 percent increase over the same period last year, the month trade deficit of 068 million U.S. dollars.

Agricultural exports 245 million U.S. dollars, down 38.6%.
