Pakistani Prime Minister urged the international community to help Pakistan post-earthquake reconstruction projects completed
According to Pakistan, "News" reported on July 13, Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani recently in Pakistan earthquake reconstruction committee (ERRA) at the donors' meeting called on the international community to help Pakistan post-earthquake reconstruction projects completed, in particular the restoration of Pakistan-controlled Kashmir Area (AJK) region and the Khyber - Pashtun province of disaster education facilities. Gilani said the Pakistan Government has completed the current 365 billion rupees of programs and projects, but there are still 100 billion rupees project is still under construction, most of them educational facilities. The 5782 earthquake damaged education facilities, only 30% rebuilt.
Gilani said that Pakistan government has ERRA upgraded to a permanent body, its powers extended to all provinces of Pakistan and renamed the National Reconstruction Committee (NRRA).
Pakistan earthquake reconstruction Ambassador major donor countries, international organizations, Baku and other responsible persons attended the meeting and described the progress of aid projects.
