China and the DPRK two Economic Zone Joint Steering Committee of the third meeting was held in Beijing
August 14, Luo, Sino-Korean joint development and co-management, economic trade zone and gold floor, Granville Island Economic Area (hereinafter referred to as the two economic areas) the third meeting of the Joint Steering Committee was held in Beijing. Chinese Minister of Commerce Chen Deming and the Chief Minister of the Korean Workers Party Central Committee Jang, co-chaired the meeting, the Joint Steering Committee members of both units attended the meeting the person in charge.
Both sides agreed that the two governments and enterprises to work together, the two economic zone development cooperation has achieved remarkable results, enter into a substantive stage of development. The two sides have jointly prepared to complete the planning framework to promote the institutional building, personnel training, detailed planning, formulating laws and regulations, customs clearance facilitation, communication, agricultural cooperation and specific projects, construction continue to make positive progress. The DPRK also devoted to the revision Luo Economic and Trade Zone, developed a "golden floor, Granville Island Economic Zone Law".
The two sides stressed that the two economic areas continue to actively and steadily push forward the development cooperation to further consolidate and develop China-DPRK traditional friendly relations and cooperation, promote exchanges and cooperation in various fields, promote bilateral economic development, stability and prosperity in the region of great significance, the two countries common interests of people. The two sides will continue to earnestly implement the leaders of the two consensus in accordance with government guidance, enterprise-based, market operation, mutual benefit and win-win "principle of development cooperation, joint efforts to take full advantage of their respective advantages, speed up infrastructure construction in the region, attracting more enterprises to invest in the district, the two economic areas into the economic and trade cooperation between China and the DPRK demonstration zones and economic and trade cooperation with countries in the world platform.
During the meeting, both sides announced the establishment of the Luo Economic and Trade Zone Management Committee and gold floor, Granville Island Economic Zone Management Committee, and signed the agreement of the establishment and operation of management committee, the economic and technical cooperation agreements, and agricultural cooperation, Luo transmission , park construction, detailed planning and other related agreements.
Luo Economic and Trade Zone is located in northeastern North Korea, adjacent to China's Yanbian in Jilin Province, will focus on the development of raw materials industry, equipment manufacturing industry, high-tech industry, light industry, service industry, modern and efficient agriculture, and gradually built into advanced manufacturing base in Korea and Northeast Asia regional international logistics center and the regional tourism center; gold floor of Granville Island Economic Zone located in lower reaches of the Yalu River, Dandong region, adjacent to China's Liaoning Province, will focus on the development of information industry, tourism and cultural and creative industries, modern agriculture, the clothing industry, and gradually build the Korean intelligence-intensive emerging economic zone.
